International Day of Disabled Persons

Since 1992, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) has been annually observed on 3 December around the world. The theme for this 2019 IDPD is 'Promoting the participation of persons with disabilities and their leadership.' The Government of Gujarat also celebrated this day with the aims to promote the rights and well-being of persons with disabilities in all spheres of society and development. The students were shown BISAG Programm to raises the awareness regarding this special day.

School Health Check-up Programme

Today School Health Check-up Programme was conducted at the school. The students were checked by expert doctors and were given proper medical advice and guidance. Students with medical condition were also referred to Civil Hospital. Thus a great way to provide support to children for betterment of education.

Jya Swachhata tya prabhuta - A wonderful play by our School Students

There were many activities done in the month of September and October. In September we created a play named Jya Swachhata tya prabhuta. The school children showed the importance of cleanliness which is next to godliness. The Gandhi Jayanti was also celebrated in the month of October. Various values were taught by the life of Mahatama Gandhiji. Various Bisag programs were also seen at the school. The use of ITC in teaching Priya Vidhyarthi. Many activities like rangoli, drawing, essay writing competition, poetry writing competition, elocution competition were conducted at the school in which students took part with enthusiasm. A new program of volunteer work by STD 7 students was also introduced in which many students joined. All in all a great way to end the first semester.

On 5th September 2019 teachers' day was celebrated at the school. The students became teachers for a day. They got to experience of teaching students first hand. The event was quite successful.

Fit India Movement Pledge at School

FIT India movement

Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a nation-wide Fit India Movement at 10 am at Indira Gandhi Stadium Complex in New Delhi. At the event, the prime minister addressed the people and also administer a fitness pledge. The school staff arranged a live viewing of the program. A pledge was also taken by the students at this event. Various sports activities were also conducted on this day.

Independence Day Celebration 2019

Independence Day was celebrated at the school today. Various dignities, guests, parents and students came in huge numbers. The flag was hoisted by the village sarpanch Shri Gulabbhai Patel. He also provided sweets for the students and villagers. The head teacher Ms. Neetaben J. Patel told about school progress and how the village, parents and others come together to make a bright future for the nation.

Fire Drill - Disaster Management

Today a fire drill was conducted at the school. It is important for the students to understand the dangers of a serious disaster. As a precaution a disaster management rehearsal was conducted at the school. A successful fire drill and evacuation was also conducted.

On 28th June 2019 Baal Sansad Election was conducted at the school. The students came forward with great enthusiasm and participated in this event. The teachers taught how the election process works and students got a chance to understand the fundamental workings of an election.

International Yoga Day was celebrated on 21 June 2019 at the school. The students and the staff members came early in the morning and did the traditional yoga and celebrated the wonderful day. Yoga is very important for a perfect health and a sound mind as well. The students are taught yoga daily for balanced life.

Samaydan - Time Donation and Swapnadrashata Issue no.6

Samaydan or the Time Donation concept was given by State Government to strengthen the educational level of Std 2 Priya Students who need special attention to bring them in the main stream learning level. We are happy to announce that many staff members came forward to donate their time and energy for the betterment of the students.

The School Principal Ms. Neetabehen J. Patel and staff teachers: Mrs. Snehabehen R. Patel , Mr. Hasubhai B. Patel, Mr. Kirankumar C. Chauhan did the initial parents door to door meeting and convinced them to send their children to school in the vacation. Their devotion is truly marvelous.

The staff members Mr. Hasubhai B. Patel, Mr. Sumanbhai P. Tandel, Mr. Mukeshbhai M. Patel and Mr. Kirankumar C. Chauhan gave their valuable time and expertise for the teaching of the students of class 2. All these four teachers came 3 days and taught for 2 hours in the vacation. Certainly a remarkable contribution from these teachers which is really inspirational. We can say that Time Donation was certainly successful due to the wonderful contribution of the teachers and one can clearly see the difference in the students.

Contribution by Inner Wheel Club

The Inner Wheel Club is a well known foundation which is always helpful to our school. This time they assisted us on enhancing our sound system by providing mics and others accessories. The club also provided 15 Computers for the school. We are truly grateful to the club for their assistance and contribution. Yearly Inspection

Last month the yearly inspection was conducted at the school. The academic state of the students was evaluated. The reading, writing and arithmetic skills were inspected. All the aspects of education was thoroughly checked by Nimishaben Desai and Kirtiben Patel.

Distribution of Swapnadrashta

The students from Std 5 to 8 were given free copies of Swapnadrashta Magazine this month. Assistant Teacher Laxmiben B. Patel sponsored for the printing cost of the magazine. The students enjoyed their copies of the school magazine and were thrilled to see the accomplishment of the school.

Making Exam Fun

On 16th Feburary a program of Making Exam Fun was shown to the children of the upper primary school. PM Narendra Modi showed his concern regarding various issues faced by the students regarding exams in general. The PM interacted with the students and they too got solutions regarding the exams.

Birthday Celebration of Hasusir

Today the birthday of our devoted teacher Mr. Hasubhai B. Patel was celebrated at the school. The school students insisted a cake should be cut and therefore a birthday ceremony was held at the office in which the whole staff joined and cheered for the well being of a loving and kind teacher Mr. Hasubhai Patel. Today the students and the staff visited the Rakhadada Temple at Devipujakvas. The community had invited us to celebrated the annual function of the temple. A huge dining (Bhandara) was also organized by the community in which all of us participated. The staff also provided donation for the cause.

On 26 January 2019 the Republic day was celebrated at the school. The flag hosisting ceremony took place in the morning which was followed by cultural program. A drawing exhibition also took place.
