We all know what Measles can do to a child & Rubella can do to an unborn child. To remove this dreadful diseases; Government of Gujarat is going to launch MR Campaign from 16th July to cover 1.8 crore children from the age 9 months to 15 years all across Gujarat. All these children will be given an injection of MR vaccine over and above their routine immunisation. As Pediatricians taking care of Children from Birth to 18 years, we will have 3 responsibilities to share:

1. we must positively tell our parents to let their children take this vaccine in the school during the campaign.

2. Participate actively in any of the awareness campaign related to this.

3. To give our services as AEFI Management centre when required.

Parents Meeting

Today Parents meeting was arrenged at the school. Various topics were discussed. The Head Teacher Ms. Neetaben Patel welcomed the parents and encourage them to visit the school on regular basis to know where their children stand academically. She also point out issues regarding regular attendence. Other than that a detailed information regarding Measles-Rubella Vaccination was provided by Mrs. Vimlaben Mistri. Electoral Literacy Club was explained by Mrs. Bhavnaben Patel. After the meeting a new School Management Committee was formed as per the government rules and regulations.

Disaster Management Seminar

Disaster Management Seminar was conducted at the school today. Guest Speaker Mr. Arjunsingh Sardar, Director of IFSMA, Bilimora gave guidance to the students regarding the subject. Students were informed about various disasters and how to prevent one. A truly remarkable seminar with lots of fun along with useful knowledge which can come handy at any disaster.

International Yoga Day

International Yoga Day was celebrated at the school. The staff members as well as the students took part in this energetic activity. Various yogic kriya, pranayam and asanas were done in the morning session. Group meditation session was also conducted. A pledge was also taken to use this ancient method of wellness in daily routine to harmonize body, mind and soul.

Shala Praveshotsav 2018

Shala Praveshotsav was celebrated at our school today and 50 students were enrolled into first standard. The program started with Manushya gauravgaan song. Various dignities were present at this event. English textbooks from standard 1 to 4 and Prayer book were unveiled too. Bright students of the school were honored. The students and the guests gave wonderful speeches regarding the event. A cultural program was also held. Bal Mela was conducted for the amusement of the students. Plantation was also done by the guests. The new CCTV system was also inaugurated which was funded by the Talodh Gram Panchayat and staff members.
