In order to encourage more young voters to take part in the political process, Government of India has decided to celebrate 25th January every year as 'National Voters' Day'. It was first started from 2011 to mark the Election Commission's foundation day. The event was celebrated at the school. The voters' pledge was also read and many activities were carried out on this day to enrich the awareness of voting. Many villagers were also present at this event.
